OUR MISSION

Why We Grow

Last Stand Brand exists to strengthen local food security by cultivating land responsibly, sharing seasonal knowledge, and supporting community-based growing rooted in place.

OUR VISION

What We’re Building

We envision a future where small plots of land—urban and rural—are actively stewarded, locally productive, and connected to the people who depend on them.

A Garden Since 1938

Before Last Stand Brand had a name, this land was already doing what it does best—feeding people. In 1938, Chief William Cawker established a working garden here. By 1942–1943, it became a WWII Victory Garden.
